See?
But actually, there is something real quick I wanted to post. I was reading another blog online, of a band that I found on Youtube and then I actually found out they were Christians...which, by the way, I love when that happens.
So anywho, the pianist posted something,
"we are gaining ground as we get older. each day is a new breath.
think about it … breathing … hold one in, and let it go.
that was given to you...
there is a song in my ears and a joy in my heart.
not because of anything i have just received.
but simply because i know that i am being held up.
i am breathing.
you are breathing.
get going."

It's so simple. Just taking in a breath, holding it, and letting it go. But over the last few weeks since I read that, I've found myself doing it several times. When I'm stressed, sad, or angry. Just taking in a breath, holding it, and letting it go. Remembering that it's a gift. That this life is a gift that I honestly don't deserve. And realizing that through all the stress, sadness, and anger, I have a purpose to live out, and that all the little things, like a B on a test that I wanted an A on isn't always the most pressing issue.
But gaining ground, taking a new breath, that's important.
Good stuff...thoughtful. Simple. I like it a lot. Love you.
