30 Day Challenge- Day Twenty Six (And some other nonsense...)

Okay, so this whole challenge is so messed up chronologically. It's actually after 2 am right now (clearly I decided to skip the Ambien... :p)
Anywho. I'm in New York. Upstate New York, to be exact. So my schedule is a little wonky (that is such a weird word)

Fine I'll tell you.
I had three cups of coffee and a bottle of Mountain Dew today...whoo. I was a little loopy for a while earlier. Then I think I crashed. And now I'm just kind of drifting in and out of being tired and then that feeling when you're exhuasted but you can't sleep...hm.

So I'm going to take some time to vent. I'm kind of uh...well I can't think of the right word. Nervous...but to a lesser degree. So I'm nervous (but to a lesser degree)...maybe more like dreading...Yeah. I'm kind of dreading going to school on Monday. Some things went down and I feel a serious onslaught of drama coming on. Insults...hurled at me. Backs turned. Noses up. It's not that I feel...upset about it. I just don't want to deal with it. At all. That has to be one of the things I hate the most in my life. Drama. And mean people.
I can be mean, I'll admit it. But 99.99999% of the time I'm joking and I know when to stop. And I also know when is the time joke around and be mean and when isn't. But some people really are just plain mean. And it irks me. Bleh.

Have you noticed that this blog has taken a slow descent towards...who knows what, really. It's not as good as it used to be. Know why? There's too much going on in my head. I can't even sort it all out. Like read this post...then read it again knowing that it makes no sense. And it'll make no sense.
Confused yet? ;)

Ah. I think I'll go to sleep now. Be on the lookout for a super long and hopefully more cohesive post about my very interesting...very rainy...trip!

Inspiration...

It's funny when inspiration will hit you. For me, there are countless things that inspire me to write. The weather, the time of day, my hand curled around a warm mug. Riding in the car, walking, people watching. Reading books, watching movies, listening to music. Feeling, smelling, tasting, hearing, or seeing a certain thing that just ignites something inside of me and moves me to write about it.
Most recently, it's been the blog of one Mr. Adam Young.
So actually, Adam Young's blog posts (and music) usually always (oxymoron, anyone?) inspires me. There's something about the way he writes- not only his blog, but his lyrics as well- that is extremely poetic, yet not poetic at all. But his latest blog post...it seriously blew me away.
He was under the influence of narcotic drugs. He was tired. He had just had surgery. He was watching documentaries on an oceanographer. And he wrote one of the weirdest, craziest, most brilliant things I have ever read. Why was it so brilliant? Well, he didn't know what he was writing...he didn't even remember writing it. But it was crafted in a way that any individual could read it and interpret it a different way...and yet there's still an underlying, universal message (I think? :p) It was just amazing. And that amazingness was further fueled by the fact that he wasn't even aware of what he was writing.
Here it is.
I highly, highly recommend reading it. It's a little bizarre, but in the best way possible.
Now...I gotta go find me some morphine (kidding!), Vicoden (kiding!), and Ambien (kid-oh wait...that's a sleeping medicine...hmm...)...and a Jacques Cousteau DVD...

Whoa, whoa, whoa. (Day 25 of my now-totally-messed-up-challenge)

I need a re-do! So a few days ago, I did one of the challenges, the top five good looking people ever? Well I don't know what was going on with me but I totally screwed that one up. So instead of top five favorite celebrities, I'm doing that one again (because it all kind of correlates anyway, right? :p)

Warning: The following post contains my girl-ish, pre-teen-ish, totally shallow rantings on boys. Completely out of character for me...right? Heh. Proceed with caution. Don't say I didn't warn you ;)

1) Alex Pettyfer

2) Heath Ledger

3) Cameron Quiseng. Funny story. He's in a band. Called Allstar Weekend. In all technicality they're a Disney band. But I love 'em nonetheless. (And anyway, didn't I mention before that I love cheesy boy bands?) So in this band, there's a lead singer named Zach Porter. He's a cutie. I liked him best. I went to a concert. Wanted to meet Zach Porter. Crazy crowd of rabid enthusiastic girls pushed us towards where Cameron was. Met him. Love him now. If you actually read all that...you make me laugh ;)

4) William stinking Moseley!!! How the heck did I forget him? I don't understand. He's actually up there at number one. He's my favorite. I'm just going to keep ranting. On and on and on and on about him. He's my favorite... did I mention that? And in the long standing battle that I have with my friend Elizabeth over fictional characters and celebrities...he's mine. Haha :)

5) Matt Bomer from White Collar!! Duh. Don't know how I skipped over that one. But I must say, he's better looking as Caffrey...(it's the hat!)

And! I can't say that he's all that good looking, but he would have been in my top five favorite celebrities...The Ready Set. He makes meh laugh. And he loves cats. Like...yeah.

I Lose

Ahhh! I'm like three days behind in my 30 day challenge!! That's lame. I was aiming for doing t every single day and I was doing pretty darn well. But I've been kind of busy...

So Day Twenty Five...Top Five Things I Do During "Me Time"
1) Lay upside down on my bed with my eyes closed and listen to music super loud. I do this so much...it's one of my favorite things ever!
2) Read. Anything and everything. (except for the bad stuff :p)
3) Watch movies. Actually...if it's really "me time", I usually watchovies I've already seen before. Then I don't have to fully pay attention to what I'm doing.
4) Go online.
5) Write. One of my favorite things in the world to do. If it's not in here or in something I'm in the middle of writing and I can't think of anything, sometimes I'll go online and look up writing prompts. Even if I end up completely hating it, writing completely clears my mind and is super relaxing for me.


And PS...all of the days for this in the titles are super screwed up. But I don't feel like changing it. So yeah...have fun figuring them out ;)

Arghhh!!!!

I'm so stinking frustrated right now. Ohmygoodness.
It looks like I'm going to have to be switching over to tumblr permanently...
I got an email from Blogger last night...apparently I'm in conflict with whatever User Agreement or Terms that I agreed to when I first signed up?
Like all the songs, etc. I've been posting, I haven't been citing them properly...so I'm in violation of copyright laws and Blogger rules.
And the email said something about being able to keep my account and continue using Blogger, but it was some drawn out process that I honestly don't feel like dealing with. And as much as I don't really like the format of tumblr, I think the copyright stuff and the rules are a little more lax over there...
So my blog will probably be gone by tomorrow or maybe even tonight by midnight? I'm not 100% sure...but I'm going to try and spend the next hour or so switching all of my posts over to tumblr so that they're not entirely lost.
