Top Five Favorite Books
...this one is going to be painful. I mean, how am I supposed to just pick five? That's like making a mother choose her favorite child. I looooove books. So much. So I'm including series in this...because it's hard enough to limit it down to that, let alone singular books within the series.
1) The Christy Miller/Sierra Jensen/Katie Weldon series by Robin Jones Gunn. I love these books. So much. I can pick one up, any one of them, flip to some random page in the middle, and become completely engrossed.
2) The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Love love love. I love the story, the characters, but I especially love Stephenie Meyer's writing style. It's brilliant.
3) The Charmed Life series by Jenny B. Jones. Same as the first, I can pick these up and just read them. And I can read them, set the book down, and ten seconds later pick it up and read it again. They're amazing. And full of sarcasm.
4) The Host by Stephenie Meyer. This is possibly the most emotional book I've ever read in my life. I had tears streaming down my eyes on several occasions, and trust me, that doesn't happen often.
5) The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Soooo, honestly, I don't read these a whole lot. It's more that I love the stories than I love to go back and re-read every book. But they're still definitely in my top five.
P.S.- I do like the Harry Potter books too. Lots and lots. But I've really only read them once, so I feel like they don't qualify for the top five...but they'd be a sure number six!
P.P.S.-The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins would maybe, possibly, probably be number 7.
P.P.P.S - See? I told you this one would be completely impossible...
