Do you see this ridiculousness? Look at the last post. See that nonsense about writing more? Yeah, no. It's already been almost a month. Craziness. The reason behind that would be that I started school. Like I said I would. And it's crazy...actually, I think I spend more time procrastinating the work than I do on the work. But that's normal, right? ...Riiiight? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. :D
Uhm. This is another pointless post. But what's not fun about pointlessness? It's like driving down a dark road at night, with no real destination. Or something of the like.
Anyways, to make this not a completely stupid post, listen to this because it's a fun song and I bet you ten bucks you will wake up tomorrow with it in your head :)
And read this-because I need feedback and ideas!
Prologue-
What is luck? Is it really defined by red-headed dwarfs, running around in green pea coats and pointed shoes, chasing after a non-existent treasure at the end of a rainbow? I personally have never believed in luck, only blessings from God. But let's pretend for one second that I've always believed in luck. If that were true, I would have to say...I have horrible luck. When I was nine years old, I went over to my friend's house and we were playing in her back yard. Suddenly, she stopped and said,
"Wait! There are so many four leaf clovers in my back yard...I'm going to find you one!"
So she jumped off her little red swing and began scouring her back yard for a little piece of luck to give me. Can you guess what happens next?
"Oh, I can't find one," she said with a shrug of her shoulders, "you must have bad luck."
Of course, back then I just laughed about it, because like I said before, I've never believed in luck. Nevertheless, as I sit here pretending to believe in luck, I find that what she said was completely and utterly true. I have and always have had bad luck. Whether it was tripping in front of a cute boy, dropping my purse in a puddle of mud, or even having someone plagiarize my paper so skillfully that we both got big, fat F's, nobody has ever looked at me and said, "Man, that girl has some good luck."
This story isn't about my bad luck, though. The story I'm about to tell you is the story of the day my luck changed. Looking back at it, I'm still not sure if it was for the better- or for the worse.
Whoo! I just succeeded in making that not so pointless after all :)
