Just Another List

Yes, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "But Naomi, how do you think you're ever going to become a writer if all you write is lists?"
And to that I say...I have no idea.
But oh well.
And besides, when I write lists they're more of numbered paragraphs, right?
Just nod and agree.

1) School in eighteen days. It seems longer when I write it like that...so, school in two and a half weeks? I'm kind of freaking out about it. Actually, I'm quite ready for school to start so that I have something to do.
Just kidding.
I have lotsa stuff to do. I just don't want to do it. And school is usually quite a viable excuse ;)

2) The schedule this year? Omnibus (English/History), Rhetoric, Spanish 2, AP Environmental, Pre-Calculus, writing class from the Christian Writer's Guild, and possibly Korean depending on how I feel about my schedule once everything starts up.
And that's only for the first semester.

3) I desperately need to see The Help.  I'm in the middle of the book now, and I want to see the movie so badly. I was actually going to go see it Saturday, but then I remembered the hurricane.

4) Speaking of which, is anyone else totally geekin' about it? And what does geekin' mean? Where did I even pick that up? Oof...

5) I've decided to begin charging money for people to talk to me. Because they like to tell me their problems. And their mother's problems, and their father's problems, and their sister's and brother's problems, and their goldfish George's problems...

6) I got a K-Pop song in my head earlier this week. This is basically what was running through my head- "Hmmm Hmm...lalala....lkahsgjh....HAJIMA (stop, don't do it, etc.)"
I think I should take Korean....

7) I'm thinking about painting some of my walls with blackboard paint. Then I'll be the coolest kid in town.

8) I have yet to go on any behind the wheel lessons with an instructor. Procrastination mixed with a lack of want to drive around for two hours with a stranger is a bad combination.

9) This list is taking me an awfully long time to compile. As so you can see, I have been doing nothing. Ergo, nothing to write about. It's so bad that I'm even cheating and using one of the things (bullets, numbers, points?!?) to tell you why I can't fill them up and you didn't even notice.
Oh wait....

10) I just laughed really hard when I saw that Jojo is touring with Joe Jonas. It's like..."Jojo & Joe Jo(nas)" Hahaha...I'm so easily amused.

Okay, that's all. That was painful. I need to go skydiving or hitchhiking (kidding...) so that I have something to write about. It will pick up once school starts, I promise you!
That's probably going to end up being a lie because I'm probably going to be swamped but that's okay...believe it for now.
